Budget
Monthly budget and spending by category, straight from the receipt. Without a receipt you add the expense by hand.
Refismart knows what is in your fridge, pantry and freezer, and when it expires. You see what you can cook with it and only buy what's really missing.
The pantry app for iPhone is expected on the App Store in early 2027. Until then you can try it for free through TestFlight.
Pantry, recipes, meal planner, grocery list and budget share the same data. Change something in one place and the others know right away.
A photo of the receipt or the barcode on the pack. The items go into your pantry with an expiration date, the total into your budget.
Every recipe checks its ingredients against your pantry. One tap, and you only see what you can cook today.
Plan the week and shop once. If something expires before its planned day, the app suggests cooking it earlier.
Hold the camera over the receipt. Refismart spots it by itself, reads items, prices and discounts, and suggests an expiration date and a shelf for each item. You check the list, fix what's wrong and add everything with one tap.
If the app doesn't read a receipt cleanly, send it to info@refismart.app. Every receipt you send makes the recognition better.
Every package has its own best-before date. Buy milk twice and Refismart knows which one comes first. Fridge, pantry and freezer are separate shelves, and whatever you freeze automatically keeps longer.
Before something expires, the app lets you know in the morning. Tap the notification and you see exactly the packages that need using up.
Scan single packs by their barcode. Refismart fetches name and size from Open Food Facts and, if you like, reads the best-before date straight off the pack. Next time, the app knows the product by the name you gave it.
Next to every ingredient you see whether it's in stock, expiring soon, missing or already expired.
The "Cookable" filter shows only the recipes you have everything for. Whatever is missing goes on the grocery list with one tap.
Add your own recipes or bring them in from a link, from BBC Good Food to your favourite blog (Pro). With a servings calculator, favourites and a cooking mode that walks you through step by step, timers included.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole week. "Fill the week" plans every free day, and the shopping check puts everything the recipes still need on one list.
Monthly budget and spending by category, straight from the receipt. Without a receipt you add the expense by hand.
Step by step through the recipe, with a timer for each step.
Invite your partner, family or flatmates and choose area by area what you share and what stays with you. Whoever joins only needs the app.
Change the servings and every ingredient adjusts with it.
As a PDF. Share the PDF with Refismart and the app reads the recipe straight in.
Before something expires, the app lets you know in the morning.
Recipes, pantry, lists and spending live on your device, with no account needed. A later update adds price sharing and a marketplace that everyone gets something out of. Those need an account. Whether you use them is up to you.
Text recognition runs on the iPhone. The receipt is never uploaded.
The daily backup lives in your private iCloud. We have no access to it.
Between your devices through your iCloud, or with Nextcloud through your own server (Pro).
The free version shows ads from Google. Whether they may be tailored to you is your choice in the app. What is shared for that is in the privacy policy.
The free version covers everyday use, with no account and no time limit. Pro is for everyone who cooks on several devices or together with others.

Refismart works, but not equally well everywhere yet. Before the app goes to the stores, we want to know how it holds up in real kitchens.
The button below opens a prepared message. You only fill in platform, address and language.
iPhone: through TestFlight, Apple's app for early builds, at the address of your Apple ID. Android: the closed test in the Play Store starts later. Google only lets Google accounts in, so we need the exact address you are signed in with.
You get an early build and tell us after a few weeks what breaks.
Testing is free and you can stop whenever you want. If no mail app opens, write to info@refismart.app directly.
Your question is not here? Write to info@refismart.app.
Yes, Refismart does that. Every recipe in the cookbook checks its ingredients against your pantry. The "Cookable" filter shows what you can cook right now, and on Sunday the app suggests a recipe for Monday that you have everything for.
The app is free and shows ads. Cookbook, pantry, receipt and barcode scanning, grocery list, meal planner, budget, cooking mode and backup are included. Refismart Pro costs €3.99 a month or €35.49 a year and adds no ads, recipe import from a link, household sharing, sync across devices and Nextcloud. The first 7 days are free.
The free version shows ads from Google. Whether they may be tailored to you is your choice in the app. With Pro the ads are gone.
Yes. Hold the camera over the barcode and Refismart fetches name and size from Open Food Facts. If you like, the app reads the best-before date off the pack as well. For a whole shop at once, the receipt is quicker.
Photos and camera images go through text recognition on the iPhone, PDF invoices are read line by line. Before anything is saved you check each line, and uncertain items are marked. If the app doesn't read a receipt cleanly, you can send it to info@refismart.app.
From any site that marks up its recipes in a structured way (schema.org), for example BBC Good Food, AllRecipes and most food blogs. Before saving, the recipe opens in the editor for you to check. Import from a link is part of Pro, the trial includes 10 imports.
Yes, with Pro. You invite your partner, family or flatmates and choose area by area what you share and what stays with you. Whoever joins only needs the app, not Pro.
On your iPhone. The daily backup and sync between your devices run through your own iCloud, which we cannot access. If you prefer to self-host, connect Nextcloud. All details are in the privacy policy.
The App Store launch is planned for the first quarter of 2027. Anyone in the test has the app before that.
The Android version is planned for summer 2027. You can already sign up for the closed test in the Play Store, and the invite comes as soon as it starts.
Use the app the way you would use it if it were finished. When something crashes or annoys you, send us an email. There are no set tasks.
Signing up is an email to us, nothing more. We use your address for the invite and for messages about the test, and for nothing else. What we store, for how long, and what Apple and Google get of it is in the privacy policy.
You can't get Refismart in the stores yet. You can get it from us.
